Why am I taking part

Anyone who knows me knows that there are a couple of hills I'm willing to die on, and uplifting the most vulnerable groups in our society is one of them. I'm excited to take part in my first Tour De Office event and support the RizeUp initiative. Gender-based, domestic, and family violence are still rife across the globe, and Australia is, unfortunately, no better. To uplift those affected by domestic and family violence, RizeUp promotes women's independence, prevents domestic violence, provides practical support to affected families. Empowering vulnerable people to leave toxic spaces and take back control of their lives and wellbeing is a deserving cause to get behind.
