At CommBank, our people are committed to driving positive change within their communities to create a better society for all Australians.
We have a long history of employee giving. In 1917, through the generous donations of our people, we sent care packages to Australians fighting in the First World War. When the war ended, our people continued their fundraising efforts, buying cots for children in hospital.
In the decades that followed, the giving continued to grow, with hundreds of thousands of young people in need provided with care and support.
Today, our people are building upon the legacy created over the last century. Through our people’s charity, CommBank Foundation, we remain committed to improving the wellbeing of Australians everywhere to create a better society for all.
