Albury Wodonga Regional FoodShare is the logistical solution to food insecurity in our region.
We work collaboratively to maximise the volume and nutritional quality of food for local people in need.
We rescue food on a mass scale by operating a first-class warehouse in Wodonga that receives, sorts, stores and distributes rescued food with the help of a growing team of volunteers.
We share rescued food and meals with welfare agencies, schools and neighbourhood houses in the Albury Wodonga region to give to people that would otherwise go hungry.
We empower people to make their own way out of poverty through education, training and employment programs and we ensure sufficient, affordable and culturally appropriate nutritious food is available to all.
We increase public awareness of food security and enable people to get involved through volunteering, partnerships and donations.
