Why am I taking part

Those of you that know me may be aware that bikes and I are NOT a match made in heaven. In fact, so much NOT at match made in heaven that I may have semi come off a stationary bike at a cycle class at the gym just the other day! Luckily for me, the room was dark with nightclub style lights going - there were no witnesses. However, there will be plenty of witnesses (gulp!) at this Tour de Office ride that I will be riding in as part of A&G's team. Tour de Office 2018 is a weeklong relay cycling event focused on supporting various Australian charities promote their cause. On September 4th, A&G will be cycling to raise funds for Act for Kids and support their work in ensuring all Australians kids have a safe and happy childhood free from abuse and neglect. Auto and General have been supporting Act for Kids since 2008. Over that period the Business and staff have contributed in excess of $750,000 and 1000 volunteer hours. However, there is no such thing as too much when it comes to a cause like this so please help me huff & puff my way to a goal of $250. Also, feel free to do a sweepstake among yourselves as to whether I will have another riding mishap of some sort! Thanks in advance for helping to give kids in need the happy and safe lives they deserve :-)
