Why am I taking part

We have just moved our entire lives over to Australia from the UK, and we are bound to meet some of these challenges as a family in the months to come - so this therefore sits very close to my heart. I want to do my part more publicly to ensure that my two young boys understand that viewing mental illness as a sign of weakness is a harmful misconception, and this includes being sad sometimes and feeling vulnerable. This includes raising funds for supportive facilities, where those feeling down can obtain help in order to help them through these times, and understand that there is always a light at the end of that tunnel, no matter how long and dark it seems.
